Children are awarded house points each day for demonstrating our Behaviours 4 Learning, resilience, challenge, unity or independence, in their learning and throughout the school day. These are important skills for our pupils to develop to help them access their learning and progress to the best of their abilities.
At the end of each day, the child in each class who has earned the most house points is Star of the Day! They get a Star of the Day sticker have special responsibilities the following day; helping their teachers and supporting the class.
The child who earns the most house points over the course of the week is Star of the Week. On Fridays we have Rewards Assembly, where our Stars of the Week are celebrated. They each explain to the rest of the school (with some help if needed) how they earned their Star and are rewarded with a special magnet. They also get to send a special postcard home so parents know what they have achieved, and why.
The child who has earned the most house points each week across the whole school is House Point Champion! They earn a special Headteacher sticker and wristband in our Rewards Assembly.
You can find out who our Stars of the Day and Week have been in each class' newsletters under the relevant Class Page.
