Class 1 – Reception children earn marbles in class and when their jar is full they get a special treat.

Class  1 & 2 – Teachers give out Gold Stars to children for a range of reasons. The children go up in Celebration Assembly on a Friday where they will talk about their Gold Star award and be given 3 team points (or marbles in a jar if class 1).

Classes 3 & 4 - Teachers award certificates to children for a range of reasons. The children receive these in Celebration Assembly on a Friday. They will be given 3 team points.

Celebration Assembly - on Fridays children are encouraged to bring in certificates/medals and trophies that they have earned outside of school, to show to the rest of the school. They are given 3 team points when they do this.

Courtesy Cup - is presented weekly in Celebration Assembly to the child who has shown good manners and has been polite on a consistent basis.

‘Minerva’ Cup - is presented weekly in Celebration Assembly to the child who has displayed an aspect of this vision. Each week is linked to a different letter, starting with ‘M’ for Mindset and working through the vision week by week.

At the end of each short term, the House that has the most team points will have ‘own clothes’ on the first Friday of the following term.

We hope that the children will take pride in their achievements and that this system will encourage team spirit.
