Buddies
At Plaxtol Primary School Year 6 children are given Reception Buddies to nurture during the course of the school year. They initially write a letter to introduce themselves and then take part in a range of activities over the year where they support their Reception class buddy, for instance listening to them read or walking them to the church at Christmas.
