Our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) is Mrs Emma-Louise Benwell. She can be contacted via the School Office.
On this page, Mrs Benwell will be adding items for those who may want some additional support for their children with Special Educational Needs, for example Speech and Language or motor skills activities. We want to ensure that the children are supported as best as possible during this tricky time.
Each tab will have different areas identified with different activities to download.
The Social, Emotional and Mental Health tab may also be useful for children who are finding the lockdown difficult and are anxious.
Please feel free to email Mrs Benwell on office@plaxtol.kent.sch.uk if you feel something could be added that would be beneficial.

With the gradual re-opening of schools to various year groups, a range of resources are becoming available and being distributed to us. Reintegrating back to school life can be a challenge at any time but that demand may be even higher during the current climate of uncertainty and change. Please find attached a returning to school/re-integration resource sheet that has been put together by multi-agency working parties across Kent.
These are particularly useful for parents that have children suffering from worries/anxieties related to returning to school. In addition to this, there is a catalogue of contacts and links to support you if you have a child or children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. For those of you who have children remaining with you at home, there are also signposts for support organisations should you require them
