• Open Days for Primary Admissions 2023

  We will be holding two open days for prospective parents to meet our staff, have a tour round our school and a talk from our Head Teacher.

• Class 4 visit to Gravesend Gurdwara

  Class 4 enjoyed learning all about a Sikh Gurdwara on their recent visit to Gravesend. They had a tour of the temple and a fantastic presentation explaining all about Sikhism. They all wore headscarfs in order to respect Sikh guidelines and enjoyed tasting some curry at the end! Class 4 will be presenting assembly tomorrow and showing everything they learnt on their trip.

  

• Christmas Fair raises £5000!

  Thank you to everyone who supported our Christmas Fair on 7th December. We made a massive £5000 which will all be spent on resources for the children in school. This is a fabulous total for a school of our size and we are very proud of all the hard work that went in to making our Fair a success. THANK YOU!

• Football Tournament

  A huge WELL DONE to Plaxtol School football team who played their first league tournament on Tuesday. We won 1 match and lost 2, with the team's performance improving with each match. Some excellent football, team spirit and sportsmanship. Well done boys! Men of the matches were Harry, Louie and Otto. Big thanks to our coach Ellen.

  We hope you have all had a fabulous summer holiday and are ready for the new school year, with lots of learning and fun. We would like to extend a special welcome to our new pupils and families, both in Rabbit class and elsewhere in the school.

• Plaxtol wins Most Improved Sports School of the Year

  Plaxtol School has won Most Improved Sports School of the Year in the Tonbridge and West Kent Sports Partnership. This is an amazing achievement for our school and thanks go to Mrs Pritchard for all her hard work leading PE this year. We have a plaque which will be on display in reception. We look forward to lots of sport next year, both during and after school!

• Bikeability events

  We have organised a range of cycling sessions with ‘Take Pride’ at the end of Term 5 and in Term 6.  There will be Bikeability Balance for KS1, Cyclemania for Class 3 and Level 1 Bikeability for Class 4. All courses will be free and all bikes and helmets will be provided for Class 1, 2 and 3.
