At Plaxtol Primary School we have four houses, named after birds we see in the countryside around us. They are 'Swallows', 'Hawks', 'Woodpeckers' and 'Robins'. Each year Year 6 write speeches and then we hold elections to choose our House Captains and Vice Captains.
Our House Captains have responsibility for collecting the team points each class has earned each week, adding them up and determining which house has the most points for that week. There is a termly reward for the house with the most points and a House Cup at the end of the year for the house who has earned the most points over the course of the year.
